Yue-Min Li and Mia MacMillan-Wood (Y11) were amongst a group of Netherthorpe students to have their poems published in the Young Writer’s Power of Poetry book entitled “The Colours of the Heart”. This competition invited young writers to consider what was important to them and to express it through the words of a poem. Charley Pointon (y8), Holly Wilmot (y9) and Laila Howarth (Y9) also had their poems published in the same anthology. Congratulations to all 5 pupils!
