On the afternoon of Tuesday 18th October the school hosted a careers fair for Y10-13 students. We had a huge variety of local HE, FE and Apprenticeship providers, along with local employers from a range of industries/sectors. The students and parents who attended the event were given information about career/educational pathways, insights into jobs they were not previously aware of and were told about the skillset students need to be successful in their future career aspirations. After the event one particular student said: ''This event made me realise that there are so many different options available to me in the local area. I now have a much better understanding of what I want to do and the different routes I can take to pursue my dream career.'. We can't thank guest providers enough for taking the time out of their busy schedule to speak to our students during this event. This truly was an incredible event, and we look forward to hosting other careers events at the school in the future.
