Year 11 Careers Event
On Thursday 8th November all year 11 students took part in a careers event. The event included students attending a careers fair and a series of different workshops focusing on different career pathways and opportunities. The workshops included: Choosing the right A Levels, University and the pathway to it, College applications, Raising aspirations, Applying for apprenticeships, What makes a CV and winning application form and Medicine, dentistry and veterinary. The workshops allowed students to explore potential career opportunities and develop an understanding of the requirements needed to meet their career aspirations. There were a range of external providers present at the careers fair, where students had the opportunity to ask any questions they may have directly to the providers (please see below the list of providers present). It was great to see students engaged and excited to find out information regarding their future careers!
