Netherthorpe held their own special remembrance service on Friday 9 November.

Students who are members of uniformed services came forward to request to attend.  Two poems from the First World War were read out to commemorate the centenary of the end of the war.

The Head Boy and Head Girl read the list of former students who gave their lives during WW1 and WW2.

Special guests also joined us for the service including members of the Staveley Armed Forces Association and an ex-pupil who has served in the Royal Navy.
