Year 11 take to the Peaks for Geography Field work

On Monday and Tuesday Year 11 Geography students took to the hills to complete their field work.  Using ranging poles, tape measures and quadrats they measured the effects of erosion on footpaths at different points along Baslow, Curbar and Froggatt Edge footpaths.  They also Questioned the public on their opinion of the state and maintenance of the footpath.  This was easier on the Tuesday as there were actually people using the path including an Ex Deputy Head of Netherthorpe.
