On Wednesday the 22nd of June, the school was able to hold its first Pride event since Covid-19. The schools Pride group, who meet every Thursday lunch time, have been building to this event for several months. There was an LGBT artist themed disco in Cavendish court an LGBT themed quiz and rainbow decorations, all made and planned by our students. We had fantastic weather and great attendance from students across the school.

The event also highlighted and celebrated a new range of diversity themed books in the school library, which feature a broad range of authors and themes ( not just LGBT). Students also launched a book about their experiences of being LGBT, which is to be used as a training resource for staff across the trust.
