At a time when it’s needed most, Netherthorpe staff came together for #HelloYellow to support young people’s mental health ahead of World Mental Health Day. 

Lockdown has had an effect on children and young people’s mental health. It’s been hard, but together, we can make a difference and show young people they are not alone.

As students were not permitted to wear non-uniform the staff showed unity and donned their bright yellow clothing to raise awareness.  The Head of Academy, Mrs Helen McVicar gave her full support for the day and the school will be making a donation to the Young Minds charity.
